Police request public’s help with Woodbine and Danforth arson investigation

The Toronto Police Service has issued a request for the public’s assistance in an ongoing arson investigation.
The incident took place in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 11 in the area of Woodbine Avenue and Danforth Avenue.
Reports indicate that a man entered a laneway and lit a large piece of cardboard on fire which he placed against a garage door.

The suspect is described as black, between 20-40-years-old, with a slim build, short hair and short beard.
According to the TPS News Release, he was wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, light coloured pants and black running shoes at the time of the incident.
