FREELANCER
Ah, the life of freelancing. A stressful and demanding, but ultimately liberating career choice. It's been a slow start but I'm loving it. My first publication was in the Beach Metro News, a paper I grew up reading and actually delivering in my community. I'm so excited to keep adding to my list of bylines in incredible outlets!

REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
You might be wondering why this aspect of my life is relevant to my role as a journalist. Since I was young I've loved teaching and nurturing children. But, in case you don't know, the childcare system is a dead-end career and I couldn't sacrifice my own prosperity for this integral role. When I left the childcare industry for journalism I decided to create a platform for advocating real change.
